The most impactful research organizations are built on three foundations: exceptional people, scalable systems, and a culture that empowers teams to influence decisions.
"The best products are built when organizations deeply understand the people they serve and empower teams to act on that understanding."— Leadership Philosophy
While AI is transforming how organizations operate, my focus is on applying it in practical ways that improve decision-making, increase efficiency, and create better outcomes for both businesses and customers. I leverage AI not as a replacement for human expertise, but as a force multiplier that enables teams to move faster, uncover deeper insights, and identify opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed.
The greatest value of AI is not simply efficiency—it is amplification. When combined with strong research practices, critical thinking, and human judgment, AI enables teams to uncover deeper insights, move faster, and create more meaningful business impact than would otherwise be possible. The goal is not to automate research, but to elevate it.

I had the great privilege of working with Gayle for years at AT&T. Gayle was an incredible partner to our UX team, working closely with our designers to ensure the best customer experience. Gayle's research methods were incredibly thorough and always lead to great insights that saved us a lot of customer pain, and identifying the root of a problem when the data told us where we had an issue. I've worked with a lot of UX researchers and experts in my time and Gayle will always rank as one of the best partners I've had. I would welcome any opportunity to work with Gayle again in the future!
From Magic Leap's packaging to its OS and online destinations, Gayle executed expert user research services to the business. Regardless of the time or budget, Gayle remained incredibly resourceful at ensuring we captured the research data required to iterate and validate our designs and development. From the outset of a project Gayle is a strategic contributor, outlining the methods and tasks, recruiting the right users and personally facilitating research sessions and reporting outcomes for her team as well as executive leadership. She was a critical member of our team, provided great value, everyday, and personally had a material impact on the improvement of our work. A wonderful talent and person.
A strong recommendation to hire: dedication to her team, projects, and company — a portfolio of tech and design capabilities that can benefit any group that hires her.
I count my lucky stars that throughout my time at Magic Leap, I had Gayle to rely on and collaborate with for whatever research was needed. From in-person interviews, remote studies, focus groups, surveys, or 1st click testing, Gayle is a master of her craft. With Gayle, you're guaranteed to get research designed to reveal the answers to your questions and insights for your hypothesis. Her ability to synthesize the raw data at pace without losing any substance allows teams to work lean and iterate rapidly. With each study, Gayle not only collaborates with her fellow squad members but mentors them too, imparting her invaluable best-practice methodology. Her coaching builds confidence and understanding of user-centered design practice, helping individuals to grow. If you want insights that will truly impact your business, go to Gayle.
Gayle and I have worked closely over the last year and it's been great to work with her. Our first interaction dates back to when I interviewed her for the Sr. UX Researcher position at Magic Leap — from that first interaction, it was clear that Gayle is extremely talented, knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Over the last 12 months, Gayle and our team have worked closely on several projects relating to customer segmentation, product research, UX testing, web content development and design. Throughout all of these projects, Gayle's ability to understand the nuances of customer needs and propose appropriate solutions has absolutely stood out. Her rich background and experience enable her to excel in the field of research.
I worked on several projects with Gayle during our time at Magic Leap. Gayle is one of the best UX researchers I had the fortune of collaborating with. Her process is extremely thorough and her knowledge is not limited to just research. She has a strong understanding of experience design and does not shy away from being the voice of the user. Gayle works with the team to understand what they need to find out about the designs and then comes back with a well thought out plan of how we can collect the data. She is excellent at being able to pivot her methods to fit budget, resource, or time constraints. She is a bright ray of joy and happiness and goes out of her way to help people and make everyone around her feel very special. I cannot endorse Gayle enough. Anyone will be lucky to work with her.
I had the pleasure of working with Gayle from 2019 to 2020 at Magic Leap, collaborating on several high-profile projects. Gayle pushed the boundary of research for our company. She has done more than 50 individual studies and her work has touched on nearly every aspect of the platform. In addition, she created a research database for the whole company which is extremely helpful and necessary as our team grows to become a more user-centric company. Gayle's number one strength is her cheerful disposition. She is always very positive and respectful of her teammates and coworkers. Her amicable nature puts a smile on everyone's face everyday. Gayle is also a fantastic communicator — her ability to articulate research results and explain user behavior makes her one of the best researchers in Magic Leap. Her "Get-it-done" spirit never ceases to amaze me. I couldn't have asked for a better UX researcher to work with. Any employee would be lucky to have Gayle as a researcher.
Gayle is one of the finest UX professionals I have ever had the privilege to work and team with. She is highly experienced, diligent and an excellent collaborator. Any organization would be fortunate to have her. We have worked on countless research projects together and Gayle always develops rapport with the client, advocates for the end user and delivers high quality, actionable results on aggressive timelines. Her enthusiasm is contagious and I enjoy working with her. As a fellow UX researcher, I give her my highest recommendation.
I worked with Gayle while she was a UX Design Research Lead for Magic Leap's Brand and Digital Experience Team. While Gayle's UX research contributions had a huge impact on the business, she had a bigger impact on our culture with her kind heart, positive energy and collaborative spirit. This was exemplified by her taking on the role of Communications Chair for LeapABLE, Magic Leap's ERG for employees with disabilities and allies, where she helped evangelize inclusion and accessibility both inside Magic Leap as well as in community and industry outreach. Gayle won a company-wide "Super Leaper" award for her work in planning and executing a community outreach event involving over 30 employees and over 70 young adults with autism. I wholeheartedly recommend Gayle to any organization looking for a highly-skilled and passionate UX researcher who also deeply understands the value of diversity and inclusion.
It is incredibly rare to come across such an amazing talent and human being like Gayle. I hired Gayle as our Sr UX Researcher for our Brand Experience team at Magic Leap, and her impact was immediate across all channels from digital to retail. The insights gathered from Gayle's research made direct impact on improving key business metrics and overall user experience and customer journey. My favorite meetings at Magic Leap were Gayle's research readouts, where I was always impressed with how Gayle could command a room of dozens of people (including C-level executives) and deliver clear and insightful ways to improve our business. While Gayle's effect on the business was huge, she made a bigger one on our culture. Gayle was the heart of our team, and brought positive infectious energy every single day. To put it simply, she is an amplifier. She makes her teammates better. Any team would be beyond lucky to have Gayle as a member.
Simply put, Gayle is a dream to work with. She's dedicated, driven, and incredibly passionate about user experience and research. We worked on several research initiatives whilst working at Magic Leap from product strategy through to usability studies remote and in person. She's an incredible professional and a lovely person to boot. I'd work with Gayle again in a heartbeat.
Gayle is a very talented and knowledgeable usability engineer and an extremely hard worker. Some feedback from Gayle's customers: "her performance was exemplary;" "she's the kind of person you ALWAYS want on your team;" "Gayle motivates fellow team members, has a style that works so well, has real leadership potential." In addition, Gayle is a terrific colleague and just a pleasure to work with.
Gayle is a great team member and excellent researcher. She is quick to get her own work done with high quality. She is engaging, supportive and thoughtful even during high workload times. Gayle mentors other team members to grow their skills. I miss working with Gayle.
While working with Gayle to launch our AT&T eCommerce websites, Gayle provided excellent user experience engineering support, which helped increase AT&T's online sales conversion. Aside from understanding the business, Gayle has a unique gift of identifying web inconsistencies, undetectable by the human eye, while providing exceptional feedback for improving the customer experience.
No matter what task I requested of Gayle, she always ended up exceeding my expectations. Whether conducting research, generating consensus, or presenting to stakeholders, Gayle always did an amazing job.
